- A GLA is a term we use to define an individual service area for our wireless service. The acronym GLA stands for Geographical Location Area.
- Broadband Wireless can be defined by breaking down the two words that make up the name. 1.) Broadband… meaning High-Speed Internet Access; and 2.) Wireless… meaning no wires. So Broadband Wireless means High-Speed Internet Access with no wires.
- Very Fast, depending on how far you are from the Host Node or C.O. if you don't have a host node… You can experience speeds in excess of 1.5Mps (2Mps max)... But you should receive speeds no less than 384k. If you experience slower speeds, submit a trouble ticket and we will investigate.
- Yes, but not exactly. When you refer a customer to CWIS, and they pay their first full month of service invoice, you will receive a credit for that months access charges for the referral. After your first referral, your account will be credited $25 per referral that signs up and is online for 90 Days with CWIS Broadband.
- Once the service is launched in your area, all you have to do to signup is call our toll-free number and ask to sign up for CWIS Broadband. You will be directed to our secure signup form. But before the site is launched, you can register for a free site survey at www.cwisllc.com/signup.php . Fill out theregistration form and a representative will contact you about setting up your free site survey. |
